My contribution is my old DD 2002 Subie Impreza 2.5TS wagon...I miss it a lot, but here’s her after some of her finest work!

My current DD Accent hatch isn’t as snow-capable, of course, but it still gets it’s fair share of the white stuff!

Some more winter fun...turns out my driveway sucks when you don’t have a Subaru....this is my brothers AWD explorer...the back tires are off the drive way with its frame in the back resting on rocks and rear tires spinning freely...and sadly i’m the idiot that backed my bothers car off the drive way.....luckily the Subbie redeemed me.

After getting it cancelled due to lack of winter, tomorrow is my round of Winter Driving School in Ottawa. Lucky me, the forecast is calling for -25C all day. Should be interesting!

Have fun! I should try and get to one of the “local” winter Rallycrosses sometime, but sadly they are usually held something like 1.5 hours from me :(

Did some snownuts in the high school parking lot as I was leaving for the night.

Nothing like a mentor who’s supposed to be a “good example” for the kids doing donuts in 8" of snow.

Donuts do not work well in a FWD hatchback, so I do not do many. Plus as my only car, and my DD, I like to go easy on my Accent for the most part...she is not a performance vehicle, lol.

That being said, I live on a poorly-plowed gravel subdivision road, so I often do handbrake turns into my driveway :P

I was able to do them pretty well in my FWD Mazda3 hatch. Just had to get enough speed, tighten the wheel and wait for the snow tires to eventually lose grip.

I wish I would have taken a picture of my car afterwards, because the steelies were completely caked in snow and the entire front end of my vehicle just looked like it did about 100lbs of cocaine.
